About this Project
In this 1.7-hectare greenhouse, we replaced the existing screen cloth with RES 10 FR, supplied by Ridder. This high-quality cloth offers both safety and energy efficiency.
Energy and Screening
Flame-retardant for enhanced safety.
Up to 47% energy savings, significantly reducing heating costs.
Screening level: 13% in sunny conditions and 20% in cloudy conditions, ensuring a stable greenhouse and crop climate.
Insect Control and Ventilation
Insect mesh installed in the ventilation windows, combined with a harmonica mesh cassette system.
Compact and foldable design, minimizing light loss when the windows are closed.
Optimal ventilation window sealing – effectively keeps insects out and protects the crop.
Façade Screen Adjustments
The existing façade screen was modified to fit the new layout, fully optimizing both the greenhouse climate and the functionality of the screening system.
By combining RES 10 FR screen cloth, the harmonica mesh cassette system, and optimized façade screens, the greenhouse now maintains a stable climate, reduced energy costs, and improved crop protection.
